Tooth Extraction

WHAT IS IT?

Tooth extraction involves completely removing a tooth from the mouth. People may require tooth extraction for many reasons, ranging from tooth decay to crowded teeth.

WHO NEED IT ?

Longitudinal dental fractures
Caries reaching far under the gingiva or into the root
Severe tipping of teeth
Severe loosening due to periodontitis
Relocated or excess teeth
Orthodontal lack of space

HOW WE DO IT ?

First we numb both your tooth and the bone and gum tissue surrounding the teeth. An instrument called an elevator can then be used to loosen the tooth further from its socket. When the tooth is loose enough, forceps are utilized to deliver the tooth extraction.
